Dare to be Different

Hey everyone! How is that challenge going?
Sorry it's been so long since new inspiration has been brought to you! Anyway, so I just wanted to say a few things about life! Well here it goes, so a BIG reason I was bullied in middle school was because I was different. I didn't agree with the way the "popular girls" talked to other kids and how they made fun of them. I was that one kid who would take being a loser any day instead of being popular and mean; so those crazy kids decided that was a good reason to hate me (haha I also went to a school that looked like a prison and that a bunch of crazy people went to... it was intense...).
Lately I've been thinking, but what's so wrong with being different? Being different is what makes everyone awesome and crazy in their own special way :D! Individuality is the most amazing thing ever! That would suck more than a monkey if EVERYONE played guitar or if EVERYONE could draw amazingly-like! Sure you may wish that you could be more like the kid who can run 6 miles without breaking a sweat, or that other kid who can sing like a beast; but luckily enough, God decided to give everyone some special, awesome, unique something about them! So point is, be proud of who you are! Embrace that one thing that sets you apart from the rest of the world and dare to be different! :D

The girl of the red lipstick

  1. this is my motto. when i was younger, EVERYONE thought i was a weirdo because i looked, ate, dressed, and talked differently. they all knew the popular boys and girls and hung out with them, even though they were shallow and their beauty was only skin-deep.

but now we're all starting to realize that sometimes, those ordinary, popular people aren't really exciting. so now all the people who were labeled outcasts (me, included) have gotten more friends and now, we're actually part of society. instead of being pencil-thin, selling girl scout cookies, wearing too-short skirts, and dating boys, they're realizing that it's okay to be vegetarian, or be yourself, or wear glasses instead of contacts.

i know i sound high school musical, but we're all in this together. if you're a basketball player, go ahead and sing. now those popular people aren't going to care because they've labeled you a moron.

and all we're thinking is, YOU'RE calling US foolish?

  2. LOVE this post! You said it perfcet!:)
People always look at me like I'm an idiot if I say something weird or do soemthing someone else wouldn't, but they can stare all they want! I love being different. PEOPLE LOOK AT ME!;) Doesn't matter if someone is looking at me in a good or bad way, they're looking at me. I like attention;)

  3. I wish blogs had a had a like thingy!! I love it!! I also love the first picture!! You guys are the coolest kids i know!!

  4. Wow, I thought I was the only one who thought being different is what makes the world unique!
I'm surprised that, though you went through so much, you still have a great outlook on life. I'll be praying for you, my beautiful, knew friend. You have truly inspired me!
